As we mark the 10th anniversary of Will International, we celebrate our journey filled with growth, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Founded in 2014 as the international arm of Will Group, Inc. headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, we embarked on a mission to redefine the global landscape of recruitment and human resources. In August of the same year, we welcomed ScienTec Consulting from Singapore to join Good Job Creations (acquired in March 2011, before Will International’s founding), signaling our intent to become a global force in the industry.
In 2016, we further expanded our reach in Asia with OAI joining us in February and establishing our presence in Malaysia with the acquisition of Asia Recruit in June. These strategic moves bolstered our capability to serve a wider range of clients with diverse needs.
2017 was another landmark year for us, as we welcomed Ethos BeathChapman, expanding our presence across Asia and Australia. This addition enriched our portfolio of services and deepened our industry expertise.
2018 saw us strengthen our Australian footprint with DFP Recruitment in January and Quay Appointments in September joining the Will International family. These acquisitions further solidified our position as a leader in the region.
2019 was a transformative year for us. We witnessed several key developments, including the appointment of Matt Beath as CEO of Will Group Asia Pacific. We also celebrated the addition of ChapmanCG, a globally renowned executive HR search firm, and u&u. Recruitment Partners. Furthermore, we hosted our first Dinner & Dance in Singapore, a testament to our growing group culture.
Our journey has not been without its challenges, but each hurdle has only strengthened our resolve. As of June 2023, under the leadership of Yuichi Sumi as President of Will Group, we continue to uphold our founding principles of integrity, quality, and excellence.
As we celebrate a decade of achievements, we are not just commemorating our past successes; we are reaffirming our commitment to innovation and excellence. Our journey thus far has been remarkable, and as we step into the next decade, we remain dedicated to unlocking the full potential of people and transforming the global talent landscape, one placement at a time.
